Finally, I decided it was time to stop procrastinating and finish the remodeling of our family web site/home. It's a place for friends and families to visit online and get the latest gist of what's happening at our real home in North Carolina.

It seems to take forever and I had many excuses - too busy at work, kids, not enough time, etc. All were true but it was time for a face lift. We got rid of AOL, retired the old QUANtum pages, and set up a brand new site to take advantage of the high-speed Internet.

This recent renovation has been a very enlighten experience for everyone involved. I got to upgrade our PC and learn some new development tools. May got to see how web sites are put together and was responsible for editing. The kids helped to choose photographs, drafted their stories and recommended games. Everyone contributed and was authoring content. Our goals are to make it easy to use, engaging, dynamic yet low-maintenance, and most importantly - fun.
